Morning Fresh was started in 1975 out of the garage of founders Jim and Gerri Schmackers in Philothea, Ohio. At the time we were moving eggs from farms to local stores and restaurants. Over time our operations grew until we changed our name to Morning Fresh Superior Foods to reflect the diversity of our product offerings which includes fresh meat and seafood, produce, spices, and other supplies. Today the company is owned by Jim and Gerri's grandsons, Dan and Seth Schmackers.
